Proposal
Currently installed at Carnegie Mellon University for the 2009 MFA thesis exhibition Upper Management on view in the Miller Gallery until April 19.
Gardez L'Eau is a two story composting toilet complete with naturally dyed saw dust and multi-colored toilet paper. A trap door mechanism drops the poo into a clear vitrine below creating a colorful communal 'pile'. The resulting compost will decompose for a year and then be used as fertilizer.
